Cyanotype for Geo STEMLA

1

My cyanotype examines how social media shapes our perceptions of various issues. By incorporating symbols like @ and #, I aimed to underscore the impact of fossil fuels on our world and its broader implications. Since social media profoundly influences how people view their surroundings, I chose this medium to make my message more relatable. This piece aligns with the course theme by highlighting the urgent need to reduce fossil fuel consumption, stressing the environmental harm it causes, and advocating for necessary change. I believe it's crucial for everyone to recognize the environmental impact of the products we use. As humans, it's our responsibility to change how we affect the environment so that we can ensure a longer, more sustainable future on Earth.
