The element of fossil fuels in the cyanotype is emphasized with fossils of organisms, for fossil fuels were created from the remains of organisms many millions of years ago. In addition to this, there are also silhouettes of plants. Plants made up some of the organic matter that made up fossil fuels. Our course also very heavily surrounded plants, through our bugscapes, DNA collection, etc.
