Above is the cyanotype I created, depicting fossils. These fossils belong to creatures that existed billions of years ago and are still alive today, like the seashells. The experience of working with Warren was engaging and academic when getting a firsthand experience of creating these incredible images with light. I sought to make my cyanotype simplistic but meaningful, representing creatures that have existed for billions of years. Additionally, I wanted to recognize that, in the grand scheme of the geological timeline of life, fossils are relatively new when considering the age of the Earth.
